The historic building that housed Linden Street Cafe dates back to the turn of the 20th century and has a colorful past, according to Larimer County property records and the history archive at Fort Collins Museum of Discovery. The Downtown Artery, 254 Linden St., announced last month that it would close its first-floor music venue and cafe space and consolidate business to its existing second-story gallery and artist studios. The cafe is the second recent Linden Street casualty.
